A wallet orchestrates the trade
Rise historically advertised in-wallet swaps and route discovery. The report did not establish a current provider, fee model, supported DEX list or live token universe. A wallet assembles a transaction over third-party liquidity; it does not guarantee a market or insure the underlying contract.
Read the complete quote
A quote should identify the exact input and output assets, the route, fees, expected output, minimum received and price impact. Check that the displayed token uses the issuer’s canonical identifier. A familiar ticker can refer to a bridged representation or an unrelated asset.
Slippage and state changes
Minimum-output protection limits the amount of adverse price movement you accept. Loose settings can allow poor execution; tight settings can cause a transaction to abort. Pool reserves, prices and routes may change after the preview. Even a failed swap can consume APT gas if execution is committed.
Before and after the swap
Compare the quote independently, inspect the contracts, start with a low-value test and read every outgoing balance change. After execution, confirm the public transaction result and output identifier. A delayed price feed or missing metadata can hide the result in the interface without changing on-chain ownership.
