01 — Choose your desktop build
Open the download center and select Windows, Linux or macOS. Match your processor to the listed architecture: x64 on Windows, amd64 on Linux, or arm64 on an Apple Silicon Mac. Use the platform-specific guide when you need more context. Mobile and browser-extension editions are future directions without available downloads.
02 — Verify the file
Compare the exact downloaded filename and SHA-256 with the release manifest or SHA256SUMS.txt. The Windows guide uses Get-FileHash, Linux uses sha256sum and macOS uses shasum. These commands read the file to calculate its checksum; they do not run the installer. A matching checksum confirms consistency with the published file.
03 — Review and explore the setup
Review the desktop preview release notes and your operating system’s publisher and security information before opening the package. The current application demonstrates an animated installation sequence with local progress and logs. It does not request an account or recovery phrase, and its supplied backend does not deploy a full wallet engine.
04 — Keep a useful diagnostic record
If the interface fails, record the OS, architecture, version, package filename and exact error. Locate the per-user install.log using your platform guide. The contact page can turn those details into a local text file. Wallet capabilities and additional platforms are tracked separately in the roadmap.
Release details are derived from the supplied desktop source and distribution files.
