Applications on Aptos use Move contracts to offer trading, lending, collectibles, staking and identity. Rise supplies an account interface and signing flow. Each protocol adds its own contracts, administrators, liquidity sources and failure modes. A listing here describes the ecosystem rather than a partnership or an endorsement.

Connect with context

An approved connection generally shares public account information and enables future requests; it is different from signing a transaction. Confirm the application origin, selected network and account. Treat message signatures as authorization events too: a gas-free message may authenticate a session or approve an off-chain action.

Modern connectivity matters

Current Aptos applications use the AIP-62 wallet standard. The report found legacy Rise documentation based on window.rise and @manahippo. Check whether the installed wallet is discoverable and advertises the required account scheme and features. A missing connection is not fixed by supplying a recovery phrase to a website.

Explore with separate accounts

Keep experimental applications away from long-term holdings. Review every request even after previously approving a domain, disconnect sessions you no longer need and retain records of protocol positions. Disconnecting prevents future account interaction through that session; it does not undo previous signatures or committed contract actions.
